ASE performs kiln alignment while the kiln is in shutdown and cold. This allows for accurate measurement of data and pier sighting without the effect of heat and vibration associated. The methodology used is called as Floating-point method.
In this, we are locating all the four floating points precisely using optical instruments. These points are then measured with a reference plane of known slope. Once floating point deviation established, using calculations all the four floating points can be brought on the reference plane. This is the essential pre-requisite of alignment.
